Hiring a Vehicle
6 Questions
How do I hire a vehicle from Nepal Motorbike Rental Services?

and click "Hire Now" to send us a WhatsApp message. Our team will confirm availability and guide you through
the booking in minutes.
What is the minimum hire duration?

days for mountain or long-distance trips to fully enjoy the experience.
Can I extend my hire period while on the road?
Yes! Just contact us on WhatsApp before your original return date and we'll arrange an
extension, subject to availability. Additional daily rates will apply from the original end date.
Is there a deposit required to hire a vehicle?
A refundable security deposit is required for all hire vehicles. The amount varies by
vehicle type — typically NPR 5,000–15,000. This is fully returned when the vehicle is brought back in the
same condition.

All vehicles are provided with a full tank. You are expected to return them with a
full tank as well. If the tank is not full on return, the fuel cost will be deducted from your security
deposit.

is an additional one-way fee for this service. Please discuss this with us when booking so we can plan
accordingly.
Safety & Insurance
5 Questions
Are the vehicles insured?
All our vehicles carry basic third-party insurance as required by Nepali law. This
covers damage to third parties. We strongly recommend purchasing personal travel and accident insurance for
your trip — especially for mountain routes.
What happens if I have an accident?
In the event of an accident, stop safely, contact local authorities if needed, and
immediately call or WhatsApp our support line. Document the scene with photos. Repair costs for at-fault
damage will be assessed against the security deposit.
Are helmets and safety gear provided?
Yes, helmets are provided with every bike hire — one per rider. We strongly encourage
wearing full protective gear. Additional gear (gloves, jackets, knee pads) can be hired separately. Please
ask when booking.
What condition are the vehicles in?
Every vehicle in our fleet is serviced and inspected before each hire. You will be
shown the vehicle's condition at pickup and given a checklist. Any pre-existing damage is noted to protect
you from unfair charges on return.
What if the bike breaks down during my trip?
Our support team is reachable 24/7 during your hire period. In the event of a
mechanical breakdown not caused by misuse, we will arrange roadside assistance or a replacement vehicle at
no additional cost to you.
Cancellations & Refunds
4 Questions
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 48+ hours before the hire/tour start date receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 24–48 hours receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are
non-refundable.
What if the trip is cancelled due to bad weather?
If we determine a route is unsafe due to weather or road conditions, we will either
reschedule at no extra charge or offer a full refund. Your safety is our priority and we will never push a
trip under dangerous conditions.
How long does a refund take to process?
Refunds for cash payments are processed immediately. For digital payments (eSewa,
Khalti, bank transfer), refunds are processed within 3–5 business days. Please keep your payment receipt for
reference.
Can I reschedule instead of cancelling?
Yes! We strongly encourage rescheduling over cancellation. You can reschedule your
booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the start date, subject to vehicle or tour availability on your
new preferred date.
